Khela Kids™ summer camp gives children an opportunity to spend some of their summertime doing what they love.  For those already familiar with our Khela Kids™ program, it is a way to continue their practice and have fun with their friends...with new activities that make yoga camp different from the usual one-hour kids class.  It is also a time to share with kids who are new to yoga.  For children who have never been to a yoga class before, they will find the atmosphere warm and welcoming and tons of fun. Parents are always looking for things for their kids to do when school’s out.  Here’s an opportunity to let your children experience the wonders of yoga, learning and having fun at the same time!

The day's schedule begins with a yoga class, featuring breathwork and poses.  Each class has a theme, which ranges from talking about the spine to talking about trust.  Games are incorporated to add variety to the class and increase the fun factor!  In addition, each day highlights one of the Khela Kids 10-Core Values.  After snack time, we use children's literature, talking circles, and artwork to reinforce these values.  At the close of each day, your child will be given the "homework" to share one new yoga pose and discuss with someone else the value of the day.  We encourage you to engage in a conversation with your child and maybe even try the new yoga pose for yourself! 

*All Kids Yoga instructors for Lyric are required to have a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
